Refund Policy

The short version

If you bought a subscription and it's not for you, message us within 7 days and we'll refund you in full, no questions. After 7 days we issue refunds case by case if the Service was unusable for reasons on our side.

1. Free trial first

Every new user gets 60 minutes of free conversation time with Dara before paying anything. No credit card is required to start the trial. We strongly encourage you to use the trial to decide whether Dara is right for you before subscribing.

2. 7-day full refund

If you subscribe and decide Dara isn't for you, write to us within 7 days of your first paid subscription and we will refund you in full. We don't ask for a reason. We refund through the original payment method — Stripe (international card payments), YooKassa (RU / CIS cards and local methods), or Telegram Payments / Telegram Stars.

The 7-day window applies only to your first paid subscription period. Renewal periods that begin after the 7-day window are not covered by this no-questions-asked guarantee.

3. Refunds after 7 days

After the 7-day window, we may still refund you in part or in full if:

We do not normally refund unused time on a cancelled subscription. When you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and the subscription stops renewing — this is your way of "using up" what you paid for.

4. Telegram Stars

If you paid with Telegram Stars, the refund returns Stars to your Telegram account, not cash. This is a constraint of Telegram's payment system, not of Dara.

5. How to request a refund

Email hello@daratutor.app from the same email associated with your payment, or message @DaraTutorBot in Telegram. Include:

We respond to refund requests within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

6. Chargebacks

If you have a problem with a charge, please contact us first — we resolve almost every case directly and much faster than a chargeback. Filing a chargeback with your bank without first contacting us may result in your account being suspended while the dispute is investigated.
